    Description

This is a Great lot of 2 WWII Vintage Australian Paper Money Notes, plus 2 Coins. The items were collected by a soldier on his tour of duty in the Pacific theater. The coins include a 1943 copper 1d Penny w/ George VI on the front & a Kangaroo on the back (1 3/16” across), & a 1944 silver 1 Florin w/ George VI on the front & Australian heraldry on the back (great condition, with nice features, but is sticky from having a piece of tape over the front & back protecting it all these years). The 1
    st
1942 note is a 10 Shilling / ½ pound note w/ a young King George VI on the front, & the image of Australian labor “Manufacturers” on the back (3” x 5 7/16”). The 2
    nd
1942 note is a 1 Pound note w/ a young King George VI on the front, & the image of Australian Sheep farmers titled “Pastoral” on the back (3 3/16” x 6 1/8”). Both bills have a Watermark of a historical figure I do not recognize. They are in very good condition, but do have some light horizontal & vertical creases or wrinkles, and some light tape residue along the top edges. Lucky Buyer pays successful amount, plus .00 shipping in the USA. Thank You for Considering My Item!!
