    Description

    VOGUE BLONDE GINNY DOLL MODERN (?) KNIT SWEATER/PLAID SLACKS IN ORIGINAL BOX. I bought this girl a few years ago at an estate sale. The mark on her back indicates she comes from the early 70's. Back of head says "Ginny Vogue Doll 197(?)" Long straight blonde hair. The cellophane around her hair was intact until I started taking pictures. You can see parts of it in the close-up pictures but it is not attached to the doll. Eyes work (they may be a little cloudy--not sure how to tell for sure). Shoes are present; socks are intact but some color has rubbed off from the red slip-on shoes. She's wearing wool slacks and a white knit sweater with matching hat. Clothes are not marked. Box calls her a "Poseable doll with bendable knees, moving eyes and combable hair."  The box is in terrible shape; appears to have water damage. The doll, however, shows no damage I can see. Trying to find new homes for some of my "treasures" so my son won't have to!
