    CLEVITE 77 ROD HN BEARINGS
    This listing is for a set of Clevite HN-series performance rod bearings for small block Chevrolet 262, 267, 302, 305, 307, 327, 350, and 400s large journal V-8 engines. P/N (8) CB663HN. The "X" suffix bearings have .0005" thinner bearing walls for .001" more oil clearance; e.g. STANDARD X.
    Clevite's HN series bearings are made primarily for competition and high performance use and for engines that run in the mid to high RPM range. They feature high crush for better retention, medium eccentricity, and made without flash plating for better seating. HN bearings have unplated, hardened steel backing for better dimensional accuracy. These bearings do not have a dowel hole.
    Clevite's HN-series rod bearings are narrowed to accommodate aftermarket forged steel crankshafts requiring chamfered or narrowed rod bearings.
